Where There Be Dragons – Sarah Galvin
“It was fantastic for the Where There Be Dragons groups of young people to visit Koh Pdao Island, from the second we arrived at the office for the information session the team were friendly and engaging. The communities seemed excited and prepared to have us in their homes, it was interesting to take a tour to better understand the development work CRDT have been involved in on the Island. One of our students summed up his experience… by helping a woman make fried bananas in a small bamboo hut overlooking rice paddies with grazing water buffalo whilst observing lizards half the size of his arm crawl along tree trunks – I could not have wished for a more diverse and rich experience.”
